NVBF studierejse 1998 - London - første annoncering
NVBF har i 1996 og 1997 arrangeret studierejser til henholdsvis
Birmingham/London og Paris i forbindelse med OCLC Europe's Users'
Forum. Dette er fælles brugermoeder for alle OCLCs europaeiske
kunder, hvor der gives information om status og nyheder for alle
OCLC's produkter f.eks. FirstSearch, Electronic Collections Online,
OCLC Interlibrary Loan mv. I forbindelse med Users' Forum afholdes
endvidere moede i OCLC Nordic User Group.
I 1998 vil OCLC Europe afholde sit Users' Forum torsdag d. 2. april i
det nye British Library - St. Pancrass og i den forbindelse
planlaegger NVBF at arrangere en nordisk studierejse i uge 14. De
eksakte datoer er endnu ikke fastlagt.
Studierejsen vil give mulighed for en rundvisning i det nye British
Library og andre studiebesoeg vil vaere mulige. Desuden tilbyder OCLC
at afholde workshops i deres lokaler i Birmingham inden Users' Forum.
Vi efterlyser derfor nu oensker til studiebesoeg og workshops.
NVBF forestiller sig, at det vil vaere muligt at arrangere
forskellige studiebesoeg som deltagerne kan melde sig paa efter eget
valg ligesom der kan arrangeres OCLC workshops omkring forskellige af
OCLCs produkter. I foerste omgang modtages forslag derfor meget gerne

diverse bibliotekstidsskrifter snarest muligt.

NVBF study tour 1998 - London - first announcement
NVBF has in 1996 and 1997 arranged study tours to Birmingham/London
and Paris respectively in connection with OCLC Europe's Users' Forum.
These are meetings held for all european OCLC customers, where
information on all of the OCLC products is given e.g. FirstSearch,
Electronic Collections Online, and OCLC Interlibrary Loan. OCLC
Nordic User Group meetings are also held at these occasions.
In 1998 OCLC Europe will invite customers to join the Users' Forum on
Thursday 2nd April to be held at the new British Library St. Pancrass
and therefore NVBF is planning to arrange a Nordic study tour in week
14 of 1998. The exact dates are not yet scheduled.
The study tour will present the possibillity of a guided tour of the
new British Library and other visits will be arranged. Moreover OCLC
will offer different workshops to be held in their Birmingham offices
prior to the Users' Forum. We are therefore now advertising for your
wishes regarding visits and workshops.
We imagine that it will be possible to arrange different visits to
which the participants may sign up after their own choice. It will
also be possible to organize workshops on different OCLC products. To
begin with please send your suggestions, wishes, ideas to:
