8th Global Warming International Conference & Expo (GW8)

The conference sessions include global warming and climate change,
extreme events and the Extreme Event Index, ocean and global warming,
the earth's surface radiation budget, cloud effects, biological
evidence for circumpolar subarctic cliamte warming,
energy planning and utilities, alternative fuels, sustainable
agriculture and forestry, energy and chemicals from renewable sources,
global surveillance, remote sensing, extreme events and economic
impacts. Symposia will also be held on global warming and public ealth,
energy and natural resource management, water
resources as well as concurrent sessions on alternative technologies,
education, international law and policy making and state
and local governments. It will also feature the Greenhouse Gas
Executive Workshop. Expo features environmental technology, greenhouse
gas mitigation technology, CO2 utilization consortium, publishers,
journals, softwares, and organizations committed to natural resource
management and global warming mitigation.
Abstracts are due by October 17, 1996. Attendance will be limited to
400 participants.
GW8 is being sponsored by the Global Warming International Center (GWIC)
USA and the Columbia University.
