PRELIMINARY ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS SECOND NATIONAL WORKSHOP ON THE USE OF CONSTRUCTED WETLANDS FOR ANIMAL WASTE MANAGEMENT. Fort Worth, Texas, USA 15-18 May 1996 The use of constructed wetlands for the remediation of livestock, dairy, and aquaculture wastewater continues to increase. This workshop will bring together researchers from around the country to discuss current issues, ongoing research, and regulatory aspects of constructed wetlands. The workshop will consist of three parts: a one-day training session on the use and implementation of constructed wetlands led by a team of invited experts from around the country (Wednesday); a one-day field tour of current water quality issues and constructed wetlands in the Stephenville/Erath County area (Thursday); and a two-day contributed paper session (Friday-Saturday).
