Access to Learning Award (ATLA) 2009 - Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation:

  "... the award recognizes excellence in public libraries and similar institutions in providing access to information through the use of computers and the Internet, at no cost to the user. The recipient will receive a prize of US$ 1 million...."
