En riktigt färsk och riktigt trist skildring av en bibliotekarie finns i Augustnominerade "Tusen gånger starkare" av Christina Herrström. Där är skolbibliotekarien utrustad med sex skäggstrån på överläppen och bara intresserad av att damma sina böcker ... Jag trodde hela tiden att denna så erbarmligt beskrivna varelse skulle få någon positiv roll i slutet av boken, skulle frigöras från sin puppa och flyga iväg, kanske rent av få en hjälteroll. Men icke. Sorgligt.
