Hej !

At Edinburgh University Library we are looking at the use of Instant Messaging
across the University. We are looking in particular at the potential the IM has.

We are widening our attention to the experience of institutions elsewhere in
the world, and we would like YOUR views on IM (peer-to-peer tools, remote
assistance, bulletin boards) and technical features such as messaging,
conferencing (text), application sharing, file transfer etc.

Who is using IM at your place of work? Why?
Are there any barriers to its use? Any risks encountered? Are there any local
security issues against using IM? What about any problems of support for IM?

Whether your experience is little or a lot, it is important to us!!

You are welcome to answer in either Swedish or English.

In advance... thanks a lot!
