Another year is coming to an end and this message conveys my warmest
greetings to you for the forthcoming holiday seasons.
As you know I become chairman of IOBB (Intl Org for Biotechnology and
Bioengineering) early this year and some of its achievements are:
(a) registration of IOBB's domain name, created its website and
contents, installed a webforum software and extensive use of LISTSERV
email lists. http://www.iobbnet.org
(b) IOBB has an organizational structure of 45 national representatives
(http://www.iobbnet.org/org.html) and 3 working groups
(c) organized seven e-seminars
I wish to thank all of you who helped make these happen and possible,
and for your participation in IOBB activities.

(c) IOBB is planning two major activities
(i) the Internet Conference on Biotechnology and Bioengineering

I like to encourage all Africans to join the planning of ICBB-Africa at

e-seminars and Internet conferences, you need to become an IOBB member.
This will also give you full permissions to use the IOBB webforum
(www.iobbnet.org/drupal). More info on how to become a member is

fee is very low. It is equivalent to 0,5 % of a month's income after
tax. That is to say that if you make 2000 Euros a month, then your

I am available to take up a short-term contract or be a visiting fellow
at your institute from Jan-April 2005 (or a longer term job). If you
