Medicine in quotations
http://www.acponline.org/medquotes/index.html
"Containing over 3000 entries, Medicine in Quotations is the most
comprehensive collection of its type published in over 30 years" brukar vara
användbar
men där fanns av Voltaire bara:
"Voltaire, 1747
The great doctor Hermes…visited the invalid and declared he would lose his
eye. He even predicted the day and hour…. "Had it been the right eye," he
said, "I could have cured it, but wounds on the left eye are incurable"….
Two days later the abscess burst of its own accord and Zadig made a complete
recovery. Hermes wrote a book in which he proved that he ought not to have
recovered. Zadig did not read it.

Från vilket verk av Voltaire kommer citatet "Läkekonsten består i att
underhålla patienten, medan naturen botar sjukdomen"?
