Call for Papers

The Internet Conference on Ecocity Development (Feb-June 2003)
covers topics and themes on ecocity development that are related to :
- Eco-city planning and management
- Eco-settlement and eco-building
- Peri-urban ecosystem and solid waste management
- Integrative urban water management and treatment
- Industrial Ecology
- Human Ecology and Capacity Building for eco-culture
We are looking for papers/articles that are already available on the web
and that contain information related to ecocity development and to the
themes defined in detail at
http://www.ias.unu.edu/proceedings/icibs/ecocity03/themes.html
Your paper(s) and others that were presented at the 5th International
Ecocity Conference (Aug 2002, China) will be used as background papers
for e-discussion during the Internet Conference.
To submit a paper or article for review, please email ONLY
(a) the webpage (url) address of your paper or article, and
(b) an abstract of about 20 lines
to

or
[log in to unmask] - for materials in Chinese
The organizers will contact you if your paper is appropriate.
A CD will be available in January 2003 and will contain all materials
from http://www.ias.unu.edu/proceedings/icibs/ecocity03 .
If your paper has an existing copyright, permission is needed (from
publisher or organization or yourself) before it can be included in the
CD. If permission is not available, then only a hyperlink will be made
to the webpage.
