Dear members,
is anyone aware of any attempts by the various government
fishery biologists to include a genetic aspect in marine
fishery management. I understand that a few consider the
genetical aspects when planning re-stocking etc of rivers
and lakes, but how about restraints imposed on marine
fisheries due to genetic stock structure analysis?
Any help would be much appreciated.
    Bill Hutchinson.
