Jan, jeg lurer litt på din begeistring for OCLC. Et av problemene med
OCLC er at de over lenger tid har krevd eiendomsretten til
bibliotekenes katalogposter og kjørt en politikk som er svært
delings-fientlig. Faktisk ligner de stadig mer på de akademiske
forlagene i sin forretningspraksis. Det norske BIBSYS blir nå
erstattet av OCLCs sitt Webscale system - som ennå ikke er bygd, og
der all kontroll over biblioteksystemet nå forsvinner ut av landet for
norske akademiske bibliotek. Jeg applauderer det Svenske KB for å stå
rakrygget og ikke la kontrollen over egne bibliografiske poster
forsvinne ut av landet.
