ELECTROFISHING IS ALLOWED IN FRESHWATERS OF THE EU (I CANNOT COMMENT ON
MARINE WATERS), BUT THERE ARE REGULATIONS FOR DOING SO. ONE EXPERT IS IAN
COWX AT THE UNIVERSITY OF HULL AND HE MAY HAVE SOME INFORMATION ON YOUR
TOPIC. IN THE U.S., MARINE ELECTROFISHING HAS BEEN MOSTLY AIMED AT SHRIMP
USING ELECTRIFIED TRAWLS (BUT HAS NOT BEEN COST-EFFECTIVE), SO THE INFO
MAY NOT BE OF MUCH USE TO YOU. HOWEVER, IF INTERESTED, PLEASE ADVISE AND I
WILL SEND YOU SOME REFERENCES.
